This is our most modern double decker but, at 41 years old, it still has an open platform.

The bus was purchased new by the now defunct St. Helens Corporation, Lancashire in 1967 and was one of the last three open platform buses to be ordered.

The Corporation in St. Helens favoured a bright red and cream colour scheme similar to that of the Southport Open Toppers.
